Welcome to The Cheap Wino!

I find wines that sell for $20 and under that hit way above their pay grade and pass along my insights and experiences because good wine, even when it’s inexpensive, is always better when shared.

As you might have guessed, this is a completely unpretentious and snob-free zone for learning more about wine.  I am not a sommelier but I am able to connect with them and communicate effectively with them and others in the wine biz to trigger their expertise to better experience great finds that aren’t necessarily at the top end of the wine list price-wise, but represent delightful wines for the price–even at high-end restaurants.  I’ll share some of these with you as well.
